View source for How to do References

Step 1 is to copy the reference list generated by EndNote (or whatever I was using for that paper) into the section at the end of the paper.

Format each reference like so:

<pre>
<nowiki>
: [1] Smith, Smith and Smith. A very big important paper. pp. 666-667, 2012.
: [2] Jones, Jones and Jones. An even MORE important paper, pp. 2-3, 2013.
</nowiki>
</pre>

'''NOTE''' that there are no spaces before the colons. The above gives you:

: [1] Smith, Smith and Smith. A very big important paper. pp. 666-667, 2012.
: [2] Jones, Jones and Jones. An even MORE important paper, pp. 2-3, 2013.

Step two is to go through each instance of [#] (e.g. [13]) and replace with

<pre>
<nowiki>
This is some razzle-dazzle claim I'm making[13].
</nowiki>
</pre>

Which should give you:

This is some razzle-dazzle claim I'm making[13].
